5th June is observed as an environment day worldwide. Therefore our school (Presentation Convent High School) celebrated it with great enthusiasm and fervor. The teaching staff with the administration celebrated it. It was a bright sunny morning of 5th June, 2021 when our beloved principal Sr. Rehana Mehnga commenced the program by praising Almighty God and asking the Lord for His blessings followed by an introduction by our respected coordinator Mrs. Noreen Silas who shed light on the importance of tree plantation and what role it plays in creating a healthy atmosphere.
The teachers also participated and highlighted the significance of tree plantation in eco-system in their own way. The teachers shared the quotes related to environment and plantation of trees. Sr. Christine along with Sr. Rehana, our principal planted a tree in the school to mark the value of tree plantation in the environment. Thus it was a pleasant day that helped us learn the importance of trees and how their plantation effects the environment and human life and its effects on the human life.
