Mathematics Workshop by Oxford University Press Pakistan

 

On October 19, 2024, our school collaborated with Oxford University Press Pakistan to conduct a valuable Mathematics Workshop for our math teachers from Nursery to Matric. The session, expertly facilitated by Mrs. Rubina Shaheen, focused on “Teaching Mathematics Effectively.”

The workshop centered on key areas, including tackling problems and challenges, symbol manipulation, thinking time, and numbers. Through engaging activities, teachers learned how to derive formulas in an interactive manner. This hands-on approach empowered our educators with innovative methods to enhance student understanding.

All participants received Certificates of Participation, acknowledging their engagement in this professional development opportunity. We extend our gratitude to our generous and benevolent Principal Sister Akhtar Buta for organizing this enlightening workshop, which will undoubtedly benefit our students’ mathematical journey. The event concluded with a tea reception, fostering a sense of community among attendees.
