Urdu Workshop

Professional Enrichment: A Successful Urdu Workshop

Our school hosted a highly successful and impactful three-day professional development workshop for our Urdu language faculty. The event, which ran specifically on October 16th, 17th, and 18th, was expertly led by the esteemed educator and specialist Mr. Naeem from Karachi.

The training was structured to provide both observational feedback and intensive practical instruction. Day one began with Mr. Naeem visiting various classrooms during regular school hours to assess current teaching practices and student engagement levels first-hand. This initial observation phase provided a crucial baseline for the subsequent training modules.

The intensive training sessions continued on October 17th and 18th. The first full day ran from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, followed by a concluding session the next day from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The workshop focused specifically on two critical areas of language instruction: “Requirements of Writing” and “Rules of Writing.” Sessions covered effective methods for teaching grammar and syntax, as well as strategies for fostering creative writing among students. Furthermore, the workshop addressed modern pedagogical techniques and interactive teaching methods designed to make learning more engaging. Through engaging discussions and practical exercises, teachers learned advanced pedagogical strategies and practical tips designed to elevate students’ reading and writing abilities in Urdu. This extremely beneficial initiative underscores the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring that our educators are equipped with the best possible tools to foster academic excellence.

The school administration expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr. Naeem for his invaluable expertise and highly effective contribution to our professional development goals. We are also immensely thankful to our Principal, who consistently supports these initiatives, ensuring that our teachers have access to high-quality, cost-free opportunities to refresh and advance their knowledge and teaching skills.
